MSD releases new Street Fire coil pack for Ford V6

Then I guess the only option is the StreetFire 6 tower coil pack and custom made MSD spark wires. We had a few cars running that combination. Works quite well.

Hmm yeah maybe if the stock coil ever goes. I also heard good things of the screamin deamon coils. Which should be bolt on.
 
Screaming demon coils looks promising. Wonder how it compares to MSD ones?
 
Dunno. How do you test the output voltage of one? Stick my tongue on it?

Do you need to run a fatter plug wire to get the most out of one?
 
Ha! I've seen ppl visually test their spark against the negative pole of the battery. I don't know a quantitative way.
The OE plug wire is not suitable for these hotter coils. You need a low resistance plug wire. The OE ones has much higher resistance than aftermarket ones.
