  • How I spent my summer

I don't live here like I used to. I moved to the VMF( https://forums.vintage-mustang.com/) But I stop by once in a while.and the Contour is still in the garage. But I have finally been able to have my 66 Mustang on the road for the last several years. I've also been autoxing it for the last few years in CAMT. This spring an old venue was sold/bought and reopened it's huge,An old army airbase in upstate NY Romulas.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sampson_Air_Force_Base.
For the last few years I had an old 289 with nothing much more than a cam kit new bearings and gaskets. this Spring the oil pump sucked up cam bearing material seized the oil pump and broke3 teeth off the distributor gear. So long story /short I went with a 5.0 from a Mercury Mountainer a used B303 cam and Used Edelbrock 5.0 heads now I have a bit more power.

Wow, cool. Got any overall pic's of the car? Unfortunately the mic on your camera isn't doing it any justice.
