        I do have a problem with one of the comments made... you do not have to take the intake manifold off for every possible engine maintenance activity, or to change the spark plugs. I did mine at 100k and again at 200k and didn't have to take the manifold off. Not even close.

          No, you are correct, you do not have to, it just makes it easier.
