Condenser Line Removal

I need to remove the Condenser and need a advice on disconnecting the refrigerant lines.
Haynes mentions using the Ford Service Tool 34-001.
What are the work-arounds or suggestion of tool and procedure to remove and replace the lines into the condenser.

I had a mishap and sheered the lower refrigerant line at the condenser.
Plan is to remove the condenser, attempt to remove the stub, Reinstall and replace damaged line...

Houston in the Summer without A/C is not fun.
