This has been going on for a while, but I'm just now getting around to posting. I bought a used IMRC off of here and it worked great for around 2 weeks. What it's doing now is, going back and forth. It will open for sometimes 10 miles or sometimes a mile and then it won't open when getting on it. I know these things are sensitive to heat, but here's the kicker in my situation. If I get in it wide open and it doesn't open when it's supposed to, I can clutch it, kill the switch and cost for as little as 100 yards or so and pop the clutch and it will start working again. That may last until I'm where I'm going or it may just last for 3 or 4 times. I know they open around 3500 to 3700, but are they controlled by something other than RPM? This thing has me baffled once again. Thanks in advance.
