Hey guys,

I was changing my CV joint after replacing MTX mount and at the same time had to replace the ball joint.

The CV joint was more difficult to install this time and my BJ was finished.

So, I cannot get the new BJ to go into the steering knuckle hole. It is 50 % inside but that is all.

Is it possible tha the axle is not completely inside the transmission?

I don't have MTX fluid leaking. Plus, the hub did rotate and I have both wheels out of alignment.

I don't know to adjust the wheels strait to go to the garage for an alignment.

Thanks,

Jack the bottom of the control arm.

turn the inner tie rod end to straight the wheels some.

Thanks Beans.

I noticed something in the Youtube videos, I think I should of taken out the tie rod end out of the steering knuckle before removing the CV axle.

You should be able to see and feel whether the axle inner is fully engaged to the trans. As I recall it is difficult coming out, easier going in.

I took out the Tie Rod End and it was a piece of cake to put the BJ inside the SK.

I need an alignment anyways.

I need to finish this by the weekend with the front break job.

Winter Tire season at the dealer is coming soon in two weeks so the rush will start.

Thanks to all,
