very kewl , I've thought of doing something similar for a rear window visor. So question did you just fiberglass the whole thing to the trunk lid ,or how is it attached ?

Looks great. I like it better than the original nascar trunk one in carbon fiber. The lines fit better IMHO.

Thanks guys. It is attached with three studs that were molded into the spoiler. I made some custom spacers to keep them at the right angle, and three locknuts to hold them in place. I will get some pictures of that later. The bottom of the trunklid is not as pretty as the top at the moment...still shaving and tweaking the holes in the inner structure of the trunklid.

Josh...I started with a vision. It's all custom made. Took some poster board, and that foam core poster board and made templates and a 3D version. And I fiberglassed right over the top of it. The black version with the yellow masking tape was the final version before I started the itchy fiberglass work. Lol.

I will try to remember pictures of the bottom and how I mounted it tonight.

Here is a picture of the passenger side lip spoiler stud. Gives you an idea how crazy the angle had to be to flow with the taillights and such. I used spacers from the hardware store, then shaved them at an angle to allow them to sit against the outer trunklid skin, so when the locknuts drew up tight...nothing got tweaked too badly.
