I was in ATL last week so I decided to go to the Auto Show. I didn't take too many pics but a few things caught my eye

WTF
I think it was a '53 front and rear end with a C5 body

Nice looking MKX w/ 2 sets of wheels :shrug:

I also saw the Taurus SHO and the SVT Raptor, but didn't take any pics. The Taurus looked great and can't wait to drive one.

that vette is disgusting. i hate it when people just go crazy with the sawzall and bondo and you wind up with a car that shows it's just a C5 with old parts slapped on there.

Yeah it looked pretty tacky in person. Actually so tacky i had take a pic....

i live 20 minutes south of Atlanta and didn't even know there was a car show in town. :nonono: shows what type of advertising they did. Or maybe i was just too stuck on this 3l build of mine

I guess I'm the odd one, I think the vette looks decent. Way better than the conversion out there for 90's T-birds to look like a 50 Ford. I believe that's a professionally made kit as well for the vette.

There was a lot missing from the KC show imo. The lack of SHO goodness was definitely the biggest bummer for me.

Then again, hearing that awful talking robot thing at the Ford booth might have been worse than missing the SHO.

You aren't alone. I actually think that Vette looks good. I liked it when I saw it in a magazine a few years back.

Yeah i just happened to be watching some used car show and they mentioned it. I didn't see any commercials or anything.

Ha the talking robot was at the ATL show too. It was cracking jokes on the people standing around.

They also had a Raptor simulator that was pretty cool
