I need a lower splash guard that fits under the car from bumper to the rear of the motor/transmission. Mine is missing and need it to keep the belts dry.

3/98 2.5 V6 version.

^^ I'm looking but they are hard to find, and the new replacements are not available to my knowledge.

I'm not here often, so if anyone has one, pm me.

Yes they are different. Frosty confirmed this with me via PM. The lower bumper area has a different shape on the SVT than the regular Contour's bumper, which the shield has to fit that. That flare out on the SVT makes it different. The part number for the shield is also different on the SVT vs the regular contour. I'm also told the shield differs from the Zetec and the Duratec, due to the routing of the exhaust.

i have 2 svt version and 2 regular versions but shipping is crazy due to the length. they cannot be bent

I figured as much. Shipping I think would be around $45 at least due to its size. I was hoping I could find one locally.

Frosty had mentioned the CVST won't fit the regular Contour because of the different shape of the lower valance and bumper that has a wider measurement than the regular contour. My car is an LX.
