I'd like an Ohio one again, but no one seems to have time to plan it, me with family and work, and that's the start of yard work season, which is my side job. I am very busy first part of spring.

I would be interested but I am not conveniently located for it so depends on when and where.

If this doesn't happen I'll have an alternative for July (regardless I'm going to try and do this) just a weekend thing probably. There is a big car show/cruise in, in my town I might make a meet out of it. Weekend after 4th of July. Hot rods and muscle cars are huge in my town, let's show everyone cars like ours can be cool too.

Does anyone have a proposal ready? Even if you have some organized thoughts to present, we need something from someone.

I will repeat mine from last year (I'll make a few changes later so it isn't a complete repeat) if nobody else steps up to host. The vote and selection needs to be done by January 1 so the host has time to complete the work.

Here is my proposal. It's just rough draft. The date is flexible is not everyone is into the weekend I had stated in there.

                  Proposal 2019 SZ
                  Location: Sheffield Lake, OH
                  Thursday 4/25

                  9pm-? Socialize

                  Friday 4/26
                  11am lunch at Smitty’s
1pm-5pm Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (be prepared for parking in a garage) and photo shoot throughout downtown Cleveland.
                  6pm Dinner at Houlihans
8pm-? Socialize/ Big Lots Parking Lot Cruise In

                  Saturday 4/27

                  12pm Lunch (location TBD)
2pm-4pm Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum (be prepared for parking in a garage)
Other option – Great Lakes Brewery Tour that will occur after lunch and then we can go on a cruise thru Cuyahoga Valley National Park
                  6pm Banquet/Raffles
                  8pm Socialize

                  Sunday 4/28
                  9am Breakfast and Depart

                  Other info:
If everyone does not want to drive downtown Cleveland for both days, there is a Canton Classic Car Museum in Canton or a National Packard Museum in Warren that both are approximately a 90 min drive from the Sheffield area. If we choose to do this, I can look at hotels to stay at that will be halfway between Cleveland and the determined destination.
There is a car cruise in on Saturday nights in Brunswick area, OH.
Two casinos that are relatively close: Jack Cleveland Casino and Northfield Park Casino
Other weekend options may include baseball game to Cleveland Indians (parking garage) or Lake Erie Crushers (open parking lot), event going on at Summit Racing or Dragway 42 Summit Sportsman Spectacular Event (occurs May 17-19th)
Two airports that are relatively local: Cleveland Hopkins Airport and Akron-Canton Reginal Airport

Good proposal, Anne. I was hoping to do a track event in Indiana that particular weekend though. :-(

Thanks for the info Bob. I did think of Mid-Ohio but was unsure if people would be spending money like that. I am open to any ideas. Btw, if I was to host this years SZ, I was gonna put up a poll for other weekend options. So my proposal date is not set in stone.
