TwoWa2tuff Proposal

Here is my proposal. It's just rough draft. The date is flexible is not everyone is into the weekend I had stated in there.

Proposal 2019 SZ
Location: Sheffield Lake, OH
Thursday 4/25
3pm-7pm Check in/Relax
7pm Dinner at Quaker Steak
9pm-? Socialize

Friday 4/26
11am lunch at Smitty’s
1pm-5pm Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (be prepared for parking in a garage) and photo shoot throughout downtown Cleveland.
6pm Dinner at Houlihans
8pm-? Socialize/ Big Lots Parking Lot Cruise In

Saturday 4/27
9am NEO Cars and Coffee (location TBD)
12pm Lunch (location TBD)
2pm-4pm Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum (be prepared for parking in a garage)
Other option – Great Lakes Brewery Tour that will occur after lunch and then we can go on a cruise thru Cuyahoga Valley National Park
6pm Banquet/Raffles
8pm Socialize

Sunday 4/28
9am Breakfast and Depart

Other info:
If everyone does not want to drive downtown Cleveland for both days, there is a Canton Classic Car Museum in Canton or a National Packard Museum in Warren that both are approximately a 90 min drive from the Sheffield area. If we choose to do this, I can look at hotels to stay at that will be halfway between Cleveland and the determined destination.
There is a car cruise in on Saturday nights in Brunswick area, OH.
Two casinos that are relatively close: Jack Cleveland Casino and Northfield Park Casino
Other weekend options may include baseball game to Cleveland Indians (parking garage) or Lake Erie Crushers (open parking lot), event going on at Summit Racing or Dragway 42 Summit Sportsman Spectacular Event (occurs May 17-19th)
Two airports that are relatively local: Cleveland Hopkins Airport and Akron-Canton Reginal Airport

We have our famous Saint Charles Main street, filled with bars, and restaurants if anyone wanted to burn any time or go exploring, inner city has the Delmar Loop, kind of the same deal.
We have plenty of Gentleman's clubs on our east side (20 mins from hotel)
We have Ameristar Casino, Hollywood Casino, and The Lumiere
We will be close to Gateway Motorsports Park, scheduling is unknown however.
We have some great super kid friendly places if you wish to visit including, Saint Louis City Museum, Saint Louis Science Center, The Magic House, and Six Flags.
We have Pole Position, which are very quick electric gokarts, Or Gateway MSP has gas gokarts that do 60MPH

For sheffield lake option. Can we see how many might want to go to cedar point 🤷🏾*♂️

that would add a SIGNIFICANT amount of cost into this event...and honestly, with the lines and size of the park you will need at least a full day there, open to close to get your money's worth. If you really want to do it, plan for a day before or after SZ while you're in the area.

I saw where the Ohio one would propose a couple more weekends if it would work better... Is the St. Louis one open for different weekends?

It can be. The lot car show and cars and coffee wouldn’t be available but I am sure I can find other shows/ activities. My other thought was first weekend of May, we will have our midnight madness at gateway Motorsports park the first weeks Friday night.

14 TOTAL votes?!! :troutslap:
Wanted to vote, but i was one day late.
I understand the plan need to be confirmed fast, but i think a lot of people don't check the forum weekly like myself.
Combining a poll form facebook (where has a lot more active members) which will have better result.
