I doubt that any Ford dealers will carry the shifter bezel for the Contour. You can try to contact your nearest dealer and see if they can order the part. If they can order it, be prepared to shed out some serious cash. My recommendation will be to go to the nearest junkyard and pull one off of a dead Contour.

Thanks.... we hit a few yards last week. No luck. Seems to be a common problem here out East. The plastic cracks and NJ won't pass it for inspection.
the poor idle while in drive might be an issue with the torque converter. could be worn mounts, etc.

your post said that you where looking to buy the shifter bezel, that is a classified post, in part. this is the troubleshooting forum. do you have any other input on the car? cel on at all?
