P1506 and P0133: Vacuum leak?

I recently pulled these two codes from my car. I've had a full 3.0 in there for roughly a month. Since the 3.0 was installed, my HVAC controls don't work...every setting besides "off" is defrost. So I'm thinking this could be a vacuum leak.

Exactly how do I troubleshoot this? What can I look for?

No, the IAC for the 3L has a larger diameter opening which throws the P1506. At least it did on my car with a 3L IAC on my port matched 3L hydrid (SE upper and lower intakes). I'm not sure what happens if you have 3L intakes.

the upper O2 sensors tell the PCM rich/lean and are not turned off. the lower/downstream O2 sensors can be turned off since they just monitor cat efficiency.

Check the HVAC vac hoses in the center console - down by the accelerator. Have been a few cases where CEGers have unknowingly pulled the couplings appart. How big are your feet? :laugh:
