Why the :censored::censored::censored::censored: wont the :censored::censored::censored::censored:ing SVT oil cooler screw on tight!! Took the POS on and off 20 fin times. It still WILL NOT stay flush against the block, it's like the threading is crooked on the motor!

Has anyone else had this issue? I'm SO frustrated with it.

Yes its brand new.

The top side of the cooler is flush against the block once tightened down the bottom side is big enough i can stick a flathead screwdriver into it.

Don't think so because my stock 3L tube thing goes in at a VERY slight angle as well.. Is that normal? It seems the threads in the block are at a very slight angle?

No one has ran into this before?

Well I'm thinking of just running no cooler for now, maybe a air cooler down the road.

if the oil cooler doesn't sit properly won't the oil filter present the same problem? are you sure it isn't cross threaded? have checked the tube for out of square? i.e. is 90 degrees from the block mating surface? good luck I wish you well.

That's a very good point... hmmmmm, I'm 100% sure its not cross threaded.

I'm sure. I'll have to fiddle with it some more tommorow, but its like the blocks threads are at a angle.
