So I headed down to Lansing this weekend for my first autox event. I was crazy nervous to do it for my first time, but it turned out to be a lot easier than I expected and had a tooon of fun. Ran with some sweet cars too.
I placed 5th in my class out of I think 13ish cars. My last run I ran a 29.615 with no cones . I placed 13th overall with the pax scores out of 48 cars run.
On to the pictures...
The grid getting setup before the first heat.
Couple nice STIs, kids couldn't drive unfortunately.
A super nice Datsun 2000 driven by two brothers.
My friend in his new Turbo Cobalt SS. Did really well for his first time autoxing, first few days with the car, and just learning to drive a stick. We called him the cone killer
Buddies 3-series entering the slalom.
Me around the back turn.
Entering the slalom.
Nice finish.
