Ford has come through on its promise that the stunning Iosis concept would be a sign of things to come, at least in design. Ford will be unveiling their new Mondeo concept at the Paris Motor Show, and sources are claiming that the production version will be close to this concept. It’s clear the concept has also picked up design cues from the S-Max and Galaxy.

The Mondeo will come with a variety of engines, including a 2L 145hp and a 2.5L plant with 220hp. Diesel options include a 1.8L TDCi with 100hp and 2L with 140hp. The top model may even get the 2.7L V6 diesel that’s currently used by Ford subsidiary Jaguar. Expect more information over the coming days as Ford announces official details.

No one noticed that twin caliper rear and the glass roof. We need a sedan picture. The car is hot though.

nope didnt notice that stuff toddles.

i did notice that the power window switches might be a pain in the arse to use with the door pull in the way.

I like it all the way up until I see the back end... the whole car looks bad ass until then... I only say this because the back end looks like a mini van. and I friggan hate mini vans.

The little one is the parking brake. It looks like the Ford GT/Aston DB9 brake system.

Looks like a smaller body for the main rear caliper than the GT/DB9.

On the whole, I like it, especially if it comes w/ a brake package like that, lol.
Need to see a sedan pic though, I'm not really feeling the wagon.

I don't know why y'all are hating the wheels. I think they look great. Maybe not chromed out, but in a satin finish, I'd take them in a heartbeat.

And look at that steering wheel. There are TWO 5-way controllers...imagine how much functionality that would provide, along with the OLED displays. Hopefully the control logic is strong...that setup would just whomp iDrive and the like over the head if it works logically. The color scheme looks all wrong, but otherwise I love the interior.

Exterior looks great, but the interior looks like they had 4 people working on it and each of them spoke a different language. The dashboard looks cheap and those colors don't go together at all. Even still, I reaaaalllllly wish we could get a vehicle like that over here. That exterior looks sexay
