Weapon R Y-pipe and Stock precats?

Im suprised you had problems with teh stock y-pipe. My WR headers bolted right up to my BAT y-pipe, which was a direct replacement of my stock Y.

I would think you shouldn't have any problems using the WR y-pipe with the stock headers.
 
WR headers & Y seem to have a wide fitment variation. Quality control was not a top priority with the Cougar/Contour header sets.

I was able to fit my Y onto the stock manifolds of my old car, but many other people tell me that they were not able to bolt them up.
