Take off your bumper and cover your fenders real good. I did my whole swap right after fresh paint as well. Being careful is worth it when you finish a swap without any new blemishes. Good luck man.

Ya it was and still is but was open to other options.

Its not for the bike. That will be redone this winter white pearl with a tad of gold flake probably.

ya well my bike now has a slight amount of blue flake in it. You would never notice unless i told you. Its not soo much a flake I guess as just a slightly different color metallic
