Hard-core CEG'er
Ok so my friend and I decided to go on and tackle the painting the Calipers on his 98 E1 CSVT........
First thing is first the lug nuts on those wheels were RIDICULOUSLY tight.... Like my friend is big and pretty strong..... and he couldnt get the lug nuts off. After tackling the lug nuts on the passenger side...we jacked up the car and tried taking off the back wheel.... "WHAT THE FFFK!!! It doesnt wanna come off!" my friend yells and im like, "Are You and Idiot?" Well after i go there and tugg at the wheel it doesnt wanna come off. Finally my friend kicked the top of it.... It came loose.. But the front rims did not want to come off at all.... With like 10 minutes of kicking that thing really hard.....
After painting the rear passenger caliper im like "I Hope the drivers side doesnt do that so your car can look good on the side you drive, LOL!"
Well the rear rim came off with force but the front didnt wanna...so my friend has the rear calipers painted and the front ones arent...
I was thinking of using a rubber sledgehammer but was scared it would damage his E1s.......
Anyone know of a safe way to get the front wheels off without damaging them or anything else.......
