Trying to get into 5th.

Today on my way home from work I was trying to shift into 5th in an undisclosed speed, and it made a slight grinding noise. It was almost as if I had to force it into 5th. Clutch pedal was fully pressed and I didn't let off too soon for it to engage.

From what I know it has the upgraded shifter forks, lightened SVT flywheel and SPEC stage 2 clutch.

Whenever I went into fifth at the undisclosed speeds, it would do it every time.

At normal speeds, it's fine.

deffintly syncro.

mine does it in 3rd gear. soft with no problems. hard , with lots of grinding.

maybe some one else can chime in on this one because i have not gotten this fixed yet. but ive herd in range of $500-1000 for it

Is this a piece that just eventually "goes bad" or is this from abuse?

Edit: I was trying different speeds to go from 4th to 5th on the highway, and it seemed to do it anytime above 60 mph, but if I shifted before 3,000 RPM's...it wouldn't do it.
