Check engine light wont go off

I recently put a new motor in my 98 svt contour. After installing the motor the check engine light wont go off. I tried putting a whole new wiring harness in it, changed all the O2 sensors, changed the EGR valve, new plugs and wires. I sent it to a wiring specialist and he told me i had a bad computer (after he told me i had a short in my wiring harness) took it to ford they said it was the O2 sensors(that didnt help) just seeing if anyone on here had/has the same problem or if anyone knows what it could be. My build date is 6/4/07 and my build number is 1621

Scratch that i fixed that code. The new code is P0161. He said its either wiring or computer error and the wiring's been redone.

can't find a discription of a P0441. are you sure that is correct?

seems to point to the Evaporative Emission control system ...

I would suspect the O2 sensor itself or the wiring.

swap down stream o2 sensors and see if you get a P0141

if you get a P0141 then its the sensor. if not its the wiring or something else.
