LED dome light strobing

I bought an LED bulb from superbrightleds for my dome light and it was fine for the past 6 months probably. All of a sudden it now strobes whenever its on. Its not consistent, just flashes on and off randomly. Is this a sign to order a replacement?

I do believe so. I had two do that to me. have the same bulb in my mystique and its been fine for well over a year ....

Yea, it went out today. I kinda liked the whole dance party effect every time i opened my door. oh well

my LED's did that as well.

I had several do that from both superbrightleds and autolumination. Then I got a bunch from Matt R's group buy and I haven't had any problems since.

I've had numerous problems with LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com. They don't make them very well apparently.

i had the same issue with mine, but it is for the reason that the cheap leds do not have a built in resistor, if you opull the power line back from above the roof carpet than put in a resistor i believe a 1 ohm i did it should be fine but you will need another bulb
