Its not the car, its the driver. Top Gear inside

you guys watch Top Gear out there? tis best show on TV!!! lol remember when it was first aired, some impressive feat driving the Transit round the track

could be due to richard hammonds crash doing 300mph+ and was very close to dying, but luckly he survived and is back in the new series, starting here 28th Jan i think (tis late jan anyhow)

Surely you lot wouldn't know half the cars, do to some being European

I love the show, but the lack of US air time has nothing to do with Hamster's crash, but because of Clarkson's relentless ribbing of the US, the show lasted for less than a season over here before it got pulled. I've seen almost every UK episode, and I saw the US episodes, and the UK versions are far superior. When they brought the show to the states, the cut segments completely out so they could insert commercials.... I think the show would do better here if they broadcast it exactly the way they do in the UK (damn US commercialism )

There was a thread on that already. We concluded he's an ethnocentric idiot.

Yeah he definitely is. In what world is a supercharged exige that costs upwards of $70k a fair fight against a Rousch Mustang that only costs $40k, and on a roadcourse of all places. I like the exige and all, but on a drag strip that little thing would have had it's "arse" handed to it. I think an M3 would have been a better comparison, or including a Jeep in the 4x4 challenge might have made the fight a little more realistic, but then again having America lose would kind of defeat the purpose of putting us down.

The Roush Stage 3 runs $50k+.

So apparently the Escalade (luxury SUV with 20" chrome rims...) decided to veer off of the road on an embankment (wtf??) and the Hummer just died. Yeah...

Clarkson is just a legend over here in England for the motoring scene, and is very funny, but stated earlier, the humour is all directed at what us brits think is funny
