Anyone got a heat gun?

I purchased some lights from another member and the "eye lids" were painted on. I started working on removing the paint as it doesn't match my car, but i think if i had a heat gun it would make this process go a lot quicker. Any ideas other than heat gun? Some of it peals off really easy, so of it not so easy.

I have a heat gun, but it probably would be more appropriate for help on vinyl eye lids. I say just sand the paint off and clear coat your headlights. They will look dull after sanding, but the clear will bring the shine back.

However, you can use my heat gun if you think it's worth it.

If you can deal with harbor freight crap I think they have them for about $15. I remember seeing one in their ad.
