But then it passed the next week when I:
Put in stock heat range plugs
Ran with a full tank of gas and "Guarantee to pass" to almost empty
Changed Oil and oil filter
Filled up halfway with 87...that's right 87 octane and added 4.0 oz of pure acetone
Ran on the freeway for 40 minutes, redlining it a few times to get the cats nice and hot (did this for the first test too)
Went straight to smog station, left it idling
PASSED
After all the above (I do all my own work) I brought my HC's down from 100 at 15 mph to 37 HC's.
