Injector question

I have a return fuel system ergo orange injectors. If i splice or take apart the plugs and put the wires in the new pgtails could I then use the much cheaper green injectors? Through a mistake I have a brand new set lying around. I tried searching but . . . . you know. Oh and do the later non svts use ev6 connectors? Just wondering about junkyard availability

all of the returnless V6 Contours should use the EV6 connectors (should double check that though). you will have to splice in the connectors, as the pins are different and wont fit or lock into the connector properly. however, once you do that, the EV6 injectors will work just fine since injectors dont care what style fuel system you have.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I didn't think it would be a problem but I've never really messed with fuel injection. I thought I should check.
