Mondeo springs on contour struts?

I was thinking of using mondeo springs on contour struts. Anyone have any knowledge if this has been or can be done? The reason why I was thinking about doing this is because I was looking at mondeo springs and there are a lot more options for lowering springs and the amount of drop. Any information is appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Contours have quite a few options for drop. Factory contour struts wont last long with lowering springs.

Stock struts no, aftermarket with a shortened strut rod yes. I was literally referring to the specific vehicle they were designed for. As far as springs I searched contour springs and came up with a 25 mm drop, a 1.4" f and 1.3" r, and lower unless you do adj coilovers. I searched mondeo springs and came up with a huge variety of of drop from 20 mm in 5 mm increments down to 50 mm. So again my question is will mondeo springs fit contour struts
