Finally after having it almost 3 months we got the timing belt done!! Man it was a long job (approx 12 hours over 3 days in the cold). Thanks to my dad and Aliasjerk its all done and running awesome. If anyone has a bumper this color or stock suspension with less than 155k on it and wants to give it away lemme know. I can use it!
Also, you see a new addition to the CDW family. 01 Cougar ZN edition. Someone I know got it on friday and the alt went out not 100 miles later. Good ridence.

If you look in this pic, you will see AliasJerk blood on the valve cover LOL My dad says you have to bleed on every project. Man there was blood all over from his finger getting sliced open. He didnt complain one bit though :) Thanks Jared

Wow that cougar looks clean! I'm so excited to do the alternator this weekend! Yayy!

Ya you and I both...you think I'd let Charity get a car that didnt pass my test for detailing and that was a POS like her sunfire..I dont think so LOL. Hope to see you both on sat/sun or whatever day works out for ya. Lunch on Chair and I

Those aren't Zn rims though.
h8 those Cougar rims (they're only good for wrapping winter tires around).
Hopefully she has the Zn rims elsewhere.

I noticed that too Kim, The VIN came back with ZN so id assume its correct. Its got the patch thing on the seat in yellow, and the 6 CD indash changer...I cant seem to find out what else the ZN has specific.

Yeah, it's definitely a Zn Cougar, that's for sure. The previous owner probably swapped the rims + cash with someone else before selling it.

The special editions didn't come with too much over regular Cougars.
All pretty much cosmetic things.
The Zn paint, the 17" wheels and the Roush spoiler off the top of my head, along with the embroidery on the leather seats that you mentioned.

The pedals are part of the sport package, not necessarily the special edition package.

I'm pretty sure there's a list on NECO somewhere that lists all the Zn stuff.

Cool, shes a member on there now just looking around for mod how-tos and stuff. She is lookin to pick up some new wheels for the summer and some HID's. Heck, I may just give her my HID's and buy some new ones. I dont know yet. If you have anything you wanna get rid of that would fit the coug....lemme know Kim :)

It looks like you've detailed that Tour as well as the Cougar:cool: Speaking of the Cougar, if you can't find some of the OE wheels for it, how about some black FSVT rims with the lip left silver, that would look great!!!!
