ok....I need help.....I've replaced the TSS anlong with the wiring for it...paid $285.......however i'm still pulling an 715 error code...now I also have an p402 ( EGR Flow Excessive at Idle) code.....the shop guy says the 402 is causing me to pull an 715 code.

my ? is: is this true?

Not true. Both are independent of each other. Drive it up ramps or jack it up and put on jackstands. Examine the EGR tube with a "fine tooth comb".

As for the TSS, make sure wiring or connectors are fine. Reset PCM (pull fuse and reinstall in Power Distributio Box next to battery, post model year). Next time post year, engine and mileage.

Get a wire end connector from the junk yard which is good and splice that end. Your new TSS end-connector should be brand new and good. If not, then just snip off the connectors and splice the wires. Make sure they are taped well as water gets in that area easily.

Many Thanks Tony

Differential pressure indicated by the DPFE sensor is checked at idle with zero requested EGR flow to perform the high flow check. If the differential pressure exceeds a calibrated limit, it indicates a stuck open EGR valve or debris temporarily lodged under the EGR valve seat.( P0402).
DTCs - P0402
Mionitor execution - once per driving cycle
Monitor sequence - Done after electrical tests
Sensors OK - CPS,ECT,IAT,MA,TP
Monitor duration - 10 seconds to register a malfunction

So you may want to check the EGR valve, and associated circuitry
