This is -- used to be -- a 1985 Corvette. The owner, who calls himself "Buckeye", says: "Women love this car. Every time I stop for gas, women come up to me. I could have as many girlfriends as I want -- old ones, fat ones, anything. They're all over me.":help:

well its an 85 vette...thats probably the best thing to do to one of those...i think those have the "crossfire injection" which pounded out like 125 horses, haha

if it gets u laid...

jk, thats disgusting, it ruins and insults all corvette owners. Wow, again why do people think. What happened to Darwin?

It's an "art car." So, doesn't matter what it is, really. I suppose he chose the 'vette because it was easier to get in there to paint those intricate designs on the suspension pieces, and the engine, under the hood, etc.

I kind of liked it until I saw the pecker.

this thread should have been titled "how to obtain a salvage title without your car having been wrecked or stolen." :nonono:

i like how he painted the Monroe shocks on the rear quarter panels. what a tool. but hey, if pulls all the ladies....

quite sad to see that even though i hate that generation ZED R1 (Just for you Mark :p)

What?

The ZEE ARR WON was on the last half of the C4's lifetime. That is an early C4 with a tpi, not an LT5 Quad cammer.

Not sure if ya'll got it, but TPI and the infamous Cross-fire injection are not the same. The C-FI was a setup that had two TBI bowls setup (Mopar)Sonoramic Commando-style on a 350 engine. Interesting design, but Chevrolet didn't pull it off like Dodge did. TPI is your standard multi-port injection(one injector per cylinder within close proximity of intake port). The TPI was very successful and is still sought out by many of us who don't want to screw with carburetion on daily driver camaros, etc.

Your welcome.

I got to drive my brother's 86 IROC-Z once... thing was great. 265hp, which I have to say is awesome for the year, plus 25MPG on the highway.

Of course, the 5.7L IROC-Z had more torque, but slightly less HP...

At the time, it was the fastest car I had driven (before the IROC-Z, fastest I drove was my 84 Monte SS with the 4bbl 5.0L HO at ~190 hp according to a G-Tech... had a mild cam, headers, and no cats with true dual).

Hmmm... maybe I'm wrong on the 265? I remember it clearly out of the Chilton's manual... Wish I still had that damn book lying around! Seems highest output for 86 was 220hp, but only in ~50 production cars (thirdgen.org). Maybe my brother's was a rare model? I clearly remember the VIN matching up with the "265hp" engine in the Chilton's...
