Look what i got from the hobby store

That's odd its a Contour SVT and not a Mondeo, great pic up. Make sure you post the pics once its all painted up and hopefully you can find wheels to almost match the ones you have already, that would be REALLY:cool:

wheels are gonna stick out then, I've tried a 190mm body on my nitro rs4 and the wheels stick wayy out, and there not offset at all.:blackeye:
 
I talked the the fella at the hobby shop where I race small scale; he said Bolink went under a couple years ago. But, someone somewhere in North Carolina has started back making Bolink stuff; under their name. So they aren't technically back in business, but you can get parts and stuff. I'll try to find out if this new company has body molds.
 
The old Bolink company is on ebay selling what's left of their stock all the time...I've purchased misc. things from them to rebuild an old Invader that I have...not sure if it would be helpful, but you could shoot them a message through one of their ebay posts...
 
well its not quite done yet.. i still need to do a few more things of cutting and air brushing..

did you use RC window tint on the windows and tails?

I bought some of that to use if I do my tails instead of nightshades.

Nice find, but...

It looks like you painted the body on the outside, did you?

I have a painted Protorform Mondeo/Contour body on my Tamiya TA-03F, and a year ago, I purchased another one (still in bag) and an HPI version (still in bag). I'm going to put those on my TA-05 and Evolution IV.

HAHAHA...I've been a Tamiya guy forever. I still have a TA-01 (in pieces), TA-02, TA-03F and RS (TCS legal), the 05 (also TCS legal), and the evo IV with a Kai chassis. When I was a kid, my father got me a Sand Scorcher, my brother had the buggy one (Rough Rider I think), and my pops got himself a Super Champ.

Besides the touring cars, I also have a Losi BK2, and a Kyosho SP2 1/8th scale buggy. I've been considering getting into gas sedans with a Mugen MTX-4...
 
I painted the outside..

I used to have a traxxas T-maxx (that i miss). right now i got a nitro 4tec, Electric rustler, and a Blast.. I'm a traxxas fan
