yeah i've looked through evolve's site. i was thinking of their front/rear bumpers but they have some more growing on me to do. if anything i'll most likely just pick up the sport kit pieces and stick em' on. i'll probably end up with an IPD softloader and intake...maybe exhaust. there's one that sounds real nice but the name escapes me right now. ferruti??? something like that...that's all probably down the road a year or so. the car does have a warranty so i'm kinda paranoid about messing that up. stock the car should keep me entertained for a while. i should be able to beat up on everyone @ gingerman if i go to SZ.

Well, I saw the car today.

Absolutely beautiful. All my expectations were exceeded. We settled on $23,000. Which ia steal considering what i'm getting. 2 sets of rims with relatively new summer and winter tires (blizzaks) on each set, the 100k warranty until 2011 and It's still got free service for the nest year. Which includes brakes though the car still only has 20k on it.

I'll hopefully be doing the transaction and picking the car up by the end of the week. Cant wait.
 
Yeah i'm actualy like giddy! What a blast to drive...everything is like perfectly ergonomic. Anyone who drives stick is probably looking at that interior shot posted and saying, damn ths shifter looks ungodly- but it's really not. I have no idea why it looks that big in pictures. it's more comfortable than my old SVT. Short throws with reassuring clicks in each gear and goddamn does it go! I'm in love...

I actually wanted to take pics of the car but after the test drive i was literally in another world! My face was red with excitement. The guy was like yeah so i saw what you offered, and i''m willing to settle for 23k. I was like no fuggin' problem man. I was ready to pay the man right there but we couldn't complete the sale right then and there. So hopefully i'll be able to git-r-done this week. I wanna get it home and detailed, as the inside was a little dirty.

This work week is gonna be murder, all i wanna do is play with my new toy and it's gonna feel like i'm working 16 hour days now!!

I'm gonna do my damndest to make SZ this year. Money's gonna be tight with finally getting this car (taxes and stuff) plus i got a wedding and communion for my godson - but i really wanna pwn everyone at gingerman lol! Well, cept maybe for kevin and hector lol!

BTW, that was the first time i've stalled a car in several years. lol!
 
Aw come on man, look at my sig, I drive a stick every day! And though my car has some dents, it's from parking lots and jerks, I've never been in an accident or even hit anything in my 4 years of driving.


I was just kidding anyway, as much as I trust my driving, don't know if I'd trust myself with a nice Volvo that wasn't mine. But enjoy it and after owning it a while you should post an in-depth review of it for people like me who would love to own one after college.

He is giddy. :) I'm really glad for him, that's a sweet ride. :drool:

yeah. we're gonna use "lind?" or something. supposedly they're cheaper and the seller's done business with them before. I'm not sure about the temwp tag from them though...even still, if i need yurconic said i can come by and get the temp tag...all i need is the signed title and my drivers license.

and $50 bux lol
 
You can get a temp tag from any notary, so you'll be fine.
I think he's talking about Lynn's Notary. I think everyone in the area has used that place at one time or another. :) They've been around for YEARS!

yeah that's gotta be it. the guy said yurconic is pretty expensive ( i dunno how expensive hea means lol! it's like $2 to get something notarized in NY!) but i said i really don't give a flying fizuck as long as i can drive it home.
