How many wires to ECT sensor???

I noticed that the ECT (engine coolant temp. sensor) on my 99 SVT has only 1 wire going to the connector that attatches to it, but the sensor itself has 2 terminals. That see3ms wrong to me. Is there a wire missing, or should there only be 1 wire going to the brown connector? I can't seem to find a good pics anywhere that shows me.

Are you looking at the correct sensor . The single wire connector is to the dash temp. gauge. The ECT sensor has two connector terminals, BR/GRN and WHT/GRN that sensor is further to the right of the single wire sensor buried down there.
