in less than two weeks ...

true but I still don't want to run the chance or getting stuck somewhere and not being able to take it off ...

true, but you cant beat my car getting towed today WITH THE MIRKO on in Lowell at school..yupp..the mirko is scrapped from the bottom like no ones business. The stress cause the paint to sorta spider crack, but no one can tell unless you really look closely

I was parked illegaly apparently

keep a ratchet and socket in the car and you could easily remove the front bumper in about 10 minutes. I would still not mold in the mirko though. Those things tend to get beat to hell no matter how well you take care of it.

to much hassle and the reason why I used dzus fasteners on the mirko

Agreed. I can get mine on/off in a minute or less with the Dzus fasteners.

Haroon, bummer you got towed. :( I hope nothing else got scraped up on the car.

yupp im with randy, I have a ratchet/philips screwdriver in my car..it takes me 5 min to get mine off..

to clarify.

If you liked the molded mirko look, but still wanted to be able to tow the car it could work. Mold the mirko, and whenever the car needs to get towed you just pull the bumper off. If it needs to get towed you will be stuck wherever you are for at least a half an hour. That is plenty of time to pull your bumper off before the tow truck gets to you.

This makes towing possible, but I would still not mold in the mirko. Those things get beat up pretty easily, and I would not want one permanently attached to my car if it gets damaged easily.

When the car is finished and you post pics, can you put a link in this topic?

So alright already it's Tues. Night Did you get it back or not!!!

not yet  actually the paint didn't come in on time to get the car painted today, they expect to have it tomorrow morning, the car was back in the paint booth and they where taping it off for paint this afternoon. so with any luck tomorrow afternoon around 4 the body will be in paint, just will leave the other "bits" to paint. chek out my thread in pics and vids for more pics

What are you driving for the Fall Meet?
