hectors exhaust was recockuliously loud. Like, my corolla's fart can loud. I could not believe the amount of drone that thing put out.

Nonono, ya see, Hector had a pipe from the header to the rear 1/4 panel: no cat, no resonator, no muffler.
And don't tell me about drone, I had to fix a busted flex pipe on a truck at work the other day. (busted = missing) A 15.5L Detroit Diesel engine @ 2,000rpm drones; your Toyola just hums.

He had a dynomax ultaflow in the resonator spot, no muffler
