SVT with a Spec Stage 2 clutch and Fidanza flywheel. Prefer to have somewhat low miles, less than 5K if possible, on the clutch/flywheel.

Willing to travel up to one hour from S.E. MI.

Please let me know if anyone is willing to help.

Thanks.

Jeff

Driven one.

IMO its not much different than stock, the revs just drop faster when you push in the clutch pedal.

People complain its too stiff for daily driving, I honestly felt no difference between it and a stock SVT clutch.

Thanks for the info, still looking to see for myself...noise/effort and such....

Jared you don't have enough credentials for svtjeff.

Driving one doesnt give me the creditials?

I did forget to mention that there is some clutch chatter, although I dont own the car I did listen to the driver side wheel well to listen in. I did hear some clutch chatter, but it wasnt anything to complain about. it goes away when you put the car in gear and get rolling. Plus the untrained ear probably wouldnt hear it.

I think Todd and I are the only ones on CEG in MI with a stage 2 clutch. I dont know if he has a lightweight FW or not...Mine has about 10k on it. BTW Jared, beween the stock clutch (on chairs coug) and my stage 2, mine grabs a million times harder than hers does and seems a little bit heavier on the pedal.

I also have a stage 2 and fidanza flywheel, but it won't be driveable until this Saturday when the 3L/trans goes back in!

So I am assuming you consider your ear trained?
My pappy told me something once, "You are not really good at something till you admit there are people that are much better than you at it."

It really got me that you spoke as though you have been through tons of school and decades of experience about mechanical parts and service. :nonono:

wow, way to make me sound like a ass, dickhole.

Untrained being someone who doesnt pay attention.

I have OCD, so I pay attention to the smallest details, this includes sounds. If anything on my car makes sounds, I know/try to figure out what they are and if they are an issue or not.

I have owned two contours, I knew every sound that my old tour makes, and I know every sound that my new tour makes. Dash rattles, Sway bar endlink clunks, clutch chatter, etc etc...

I in no means mean to say that I am an expect, but I am trying to say I have enough experience in the field to put in my $.02 Thats all. Not that I have gobs and gobs of experience. Although I have had a few auto shop classes in dealing with Automotive repair and diagnostics, and no not just high school classes.

Furthermore... "Spoke as though?" are you serious? its an internet forum. However you read what I say is however you infer it. I have no control over the way you think I spoke. Because I didnt speak at all, I merely offered information in a non threatening fasion based upon personal experience.
