anyone seen that CounterAct electronic rustproofer at Canadian Tire? for 250 bucks installed, it will keep your car free of rust. Came to mind with talk of the Krown spray and what not. Seems like some snake oil to me, but apparently its been used in industry for 20 years. Makes me wonder why it hasnt come out to individual use earlier

i think MAYBE if you use it when your car is brand new you wont have rust for the first 5 year of warrenty of the product.. but beyong that

i know that a electric fence dont rust... but there's much more currect in those wire..

A few years ago at the Dixie Ford show and shine there was a new Cobra with this technology on it. Granted I'm not sure if it was an option or something the person did themselves but in theroy it made sense to do.

I believe it was a system that was put in. Thing is, that Cobra now has twin turbos in it :D

yah a friend of mine was asking about it. I suggested that you have a 5 year warrenty on the product, so I could only assume that means, 5 years worth of rust protection. then after that 5 years, you'd install a new one?

I do agree it would only work on new/rust free cars.

how does this product work?

gmc has been using these for months and charging large for new units $600-800 uninstaled. I'm geting the body work done on my car this winter I might try it out
