I recently went to a mechanic to dianosig my checkengine light. The mechanic hooked up the computer and shortly after my the car shut off.

I restarted the car and everything is fine except the traction control. The light in the dash is lit and the traction control system is not working. I checked all the fuses under the dash and in the fuse box next to the battery. So basically I cannot get the system to turn back on?

Is it possible that traction control runs off a relay, or is their anything else that i could possibly check or do to get my traction control restored.

My stays on also. I was told my module was bad. It starts off with jus the traction control then it affects your ABS system. Might want to find a module really qiuck. That's only what my mechanic told me.

I gutted my original TC module because it locked up. This got rid of the CEL. I kept the cams and pullys in the module so the throttle cable would still work. good luck finding a used TC module and the new ones are $600+.... eeeek - JOE
