Ya it was a GCK too...wtf do I upgrade to now?

I still cant believe that was a 2k clutch dump, ESPECIALLY on a GCK Drive shaft, thats just bonkers.

2k clutch drop and that happened? **** and I thought my 4k clutch drops on my stock tranny was safe

Thats pretty crazy. I launched with the secondaries open on the stock trans and 90k mile axles. I guess I slipped it a bit more than you ;)

Nope, Ill add on to this post in a week about how I am going to get it out with pics. Trust me about another oooo 3-4 hrs it will be out and have the other in.

so what do you do about that? Drill and tap the middle of taht peice in the tranny, thread in a long bolt, and pull?

thats what I would do...

Although, is it possible to remove the passenger side drive shaft and push out the piece out by going through the other side of the trannie?

Best guess says no.

pretty sure its not, i dont rememeber being able to do that when i put my LSD in, that sucks, but i usually break them at the joint. lol. 7 in the last year though im on a streak. kdws and spec 1 are a good combo.

Yea you can. I checked Neco for it and called Terry on it...thats how we are doing it on sat. Also about the drilling and tapping...I thought about it, but I wouldnt want all the little metal particles to go inside the trans. Just being careful.

Yeah, thats what I thought the downside would be (all the little shavings and what not). I know on an open diff you could pop the axle out and push that peice out from the other side, but I thought with the Quaife there is a rod right in the middle now, but Terry would know better than anyone.
