To paint? or not to Paint? that is the question

I hate gold wheels.. yuck. My car is already the most popular color... i'd rather not have it the most popular total color configuration.
 
I've not been convinced yet that powdercoating will not weaken the wheel or alter it's structural properties because of the heat involved.


The temp for powdercoating is so low I do not see a problem. I have done motorcycle wheels and ran them at Grattan with zero issues and had customers do the same (and we are talking stock crap through PM Chicanes). Powder Flat Black.

I agree and here's a good reason too, your not going to get the same result out of can that you've got on the rim already. Not knocking your ability or anything like that, but those rims look NICE just the way they are! BTW I can't wait to see those "steamrollers" on the car in a couple weeks:laugh:
