My cat pisses me off sometimes. Roughly once a week. I say once a week because once a week I have to buy crickets for my Tarantula. Well, no matter where I put the bag...the ******* gets it, and kills all of them. I'm sure there's a graveyard under my bed because I can never find all of the bodies. So in order to not have to buy them more than I need to, I figured I'd hang them from the ceiling this time. It's working...until the cat gets daring and tries to jump for them.

(my room is the last room on the list to be finished, hence the ceiling)

We put our cat down this weekend  5 years of diabetes - 2 shots a day. She was 13 years old and did exelent until recently when a simple bladder infection wouldn't go away.

Hehe - must be funny watching your cat go after the crickets.

cute cat!
It's so hard to get mad at them when they do stuff like that.
too funny that you had to hang the bag from the ceiling!

Sorry to hear 'bout your cat - it's a tough thing to go through .

Glenn - feed your cat once in a while & it won't have to live on a diet of crickets , lol :D !!

Provided the cat doesn't eat them first, how long do you have to keep the crickets in the bag before feeding the spider?

Well, some of them don't survive the duration...but I buy 10 once a week.

If the cat gets them, 2 or 3 times a week.

Because tarantulas don't have the mental capacity to tell themselves they're full. They'll eat themselves to death.

I need Owen at my house right now.
There was a wasp crawling on the curtains, and my cats were both dumbfounded. One of them kept sniffing it, but wasn't going into eat mode.
I was like "eat it! eat it!" stupid cat.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. That's rough to go through, I've been there.
