These are from last weekend at Texas Motorspeedway where we ran the ROVAL (www.driversedge.net). They put a chicane on the front straight just past the start finish which turned out to be a real brake heater ;-)

These are just links to proofs so I don't know how long these will work.

Wow. I hope you had good brakes. Drilled, slotted. Nice pads. I bet your gonna replace them soon.

I used to watch 350 Modifieds and their brakes would get red hot like that. Kinda cool actually. Engines on and Engine dyno for awhile get like that two, especially the exhaust.

Pic 3 is calender material for sure! More action shots would be sweet. However, wasnt there some 'rule' about having to take the shots yourself?

Great shots!! I would love tyo have a photo like that ov my car!! Definite garage wall or office wall material!

Hey, guys thanks for the comments. I will purchase the picture and if there is a calendar would love to get it in there.

I did post the wrong link for the org that hosts these events, its www.thedriversedge.net So for those near DFW or Houston that want to wring out their SVT or other vehicle give their events a try, very well organized and run.

As far as the brakes go I was running the mintex 1144 pads with the powerslot rotors. I have two sets of front rotors and pads, one for everyday and one set to abuse. This was the first time I tried the mintex 1144, not that impressed. I'll probably go back to the bedndix titaniums which is what I normally run. If someone has a good suggestion for a track day pad I open to trying something else.

The Mintex M1144 pads rock for autocrossing... but I think they're too aggressive of a pad for tracking on stock sized rotors. If you had SVTF, Baer, or TCE brakes then they probably wouldn't have overheated your rotors so much.
