Hey with the calendar for CEG right around the corner I say we get together and take some group shots. I know a few parking ramps that exisit in the downtown area that on the top ramp look over downtown. I invision a line of Contour's with downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul in the backdrop at dusk just as all the lights are coming on downtown :drool: if that doesn't make the cover of the calendar or atleast a shot for a month I don't know what will.

What do ya guys think?
 
Sounds good as long as its early in the day...or on Monday-Wednesday...haha. But yeah, I like your thinkin Mike - stellar idea

Thanks. I just need to get my front splitter back from the shop so I can install it for the photos. When I went to pick it up with my front bumper they had runs in the paint on either side on front of the splitter :nonono: I was not happy. So they still have it. They told me it was going to be finished Monday this week, but I never received a call... might have to call to find out whats going on.

If anyone lives in the downtown area see if you can scope out those parking ramps. I know that there is at least one with downtown Minneapolis in the background as a guy in my Camaro club took a shot of his Z28 on the top of it and it was just gorgeous.
 
I wouldnt mind that, i keep missing the csvt meets every time so this would be a good time to make a meet. Also post on svtoatc.com to get more of the csvt guys on there to join in.
 
I'd like to do this too but my Contour is also in the body shop for touch up's and some fresh paint. I wont have my SVT back for an ETA of 2 weeks.
 
man wish i could be there, but im in fn michigan now until around thanksgiving break. dammit man...

Such is the life of college. It's all worth it in the end anyway. (I'm assuming your in college by the way you said "until thanksgiving break")
 
you know i'm in. i have cleaned up the intake and nitrous setup quite abit but my billet bracket didnt work for the setup i'm going to get it remade. for now i have an aluminum bracket i bent up myself that looks pretty good. hopefully i'll get some boost on it this winter and start making some power :D

I wouldn't mind that, Just give me some notice and hopefully it'll be soon. I'm going to be putting it away here in another few weeks or less.

What? It's not that cold yet. Hell it's supposed to be 70 Sunday.

I have to wait till I get my splitter back from the shop. When I went in there today he said he would be finished with it by Tues. So it's look'n like next weekend.
 
Let me know when and where, assuming its not a weekday (I have school) or at least a day that I have off I'll be there

I usually just take it out in april, then run it for 6 months thats how long the insurance coverage is :) so my 6 months will be up in about 2 weeks... I could do this saturday i have the day off and i beleive the weather is supposed to be nice
 
Yea Saturday would be good. However I have a wedding to go to that night, which doesn't leave me a lot of time to get the stuff I need to finish during the day.

I was thinking more along the lines of Sunday (10/8) evening at dusk. Any takers??
 
sunday night maybe..... i did some work on mine. i took off the paint on the rear reflector as it didnt match very well so thats all red again. i also painted eyebrows on the headlights and repainted my center chrome grill. its pretty nice looking, even the generic painted eyebrows (they are actually quite badass you can see them later) oh thanks for the shift tower mike!
 
Ah...I work Sunday night... The only nights that I would be able to do this would be Monday-Wednesday...which I am sure everyone else works...haha. I have the worst days off.

Guessing this didn't happen? I'm going to be putting mine away soon so PM me if you guys decide to meet up this week. I have no net access at my house i have to use the computers at school for the time being.
