looking for a 3L

01-03 taurus/sable/escape 3L motor is what im looking for.

40k or less if possible, i dont want to install a tired engine.

i'm located in center city, MN, 45 mins north of the twin cities. let me know if you can find something for cheap in the area that i somehow missed. thanks

2.5L's cant handle the 100 shot....sorry i backed out on that motor so many times, i'd hate to kill one of the only 180HP 2.5L's around.

The first motor that Joe pulled up is only 60 miles away, not too far from being local...well...from lakeville. I AM a lil farther south than you. I searched for a 2003 engine and came up with this one.

i thought maybe it was still in MI.

na i went and got it last friday/saturday the engine was out by monday morning and it's all disassembled and the blocks are scrapped out. i still have to strip the heads but im waiting till i have the 3L to swap the cams onto. which reminds me, its been a week since i had them off i should oil them up again.....
