can i get away with 20% in MA? norwood,specifically

so i want to get my windows tinted once the engine is fixed and i do not want to go 35%, i have it on my taurus and its ok but the taurus also had a slight factory tint and i remember when my dad tested the windows with a meter it failed, anyways, i think 35% is too light and i want to do 20%, i know i could get away with it on cape, but im moving up to norwood,MA the 2rd week of july (getting my own apartment) and ive heard Norwood cops are after the tuners because of UTI, so i need some opinions/advice, which would be the best course of action?

By the way, figured id add the fact that my dad is a Lieutenant on the State Police, im not saying that i get out of tickets or anything but that might aid the decision making.
 
having an svt with 15% tint, you will be screwed..I know from experience

just get 35%, its not as bad and many inspection places over look that sort of light tint

i remember bob said he got tailed by a cop like a week after he bought the car bought lost him in traffic, and he thought it was because of the tint.... ill probably end up going 35%.

I've been stopped twice in the same town for it. I hate that town. I've been pulled over a total of 4 times... all in the town I work in. None of these times were for speeding.
 
yea im probably not going to do it, i could easily get away with it around cape though, except for Barnstable though those cops ride you about everything!

in my town cops are a joke, last week we came down to the beach at about midnight and there was an old towny asleep in his car!!! haha.

when i had my taurus, i had blue led turn signals, blue plate leds, and blue underglow and i drove past 2 cops parked together at s&S and i got the stare down of course but they did nothing, i got pulled over for the underglow in barnstable though so that went after like 2 weeks of being on the car.
 
The thing is that cops are more likely to go after an svt contour and especially my ex-svt because of it being moded and etc. They are more likely to overlook say a benz or my current G with dark tint, hell even the town that use to pull me over all the time, those cops now wave at me :shrug:

get 35%, safe bet for you. It gets annoying being tailed and etc as I found out towards the end when I had my svt
 
yea your right, your old SVT screams out Young tuner rather than your G35 which cops know that no kid would drive so they dont bother with it.
 
The 4 years that ive had my windows tinted and no front plate I have never been pulled over in Norwood.

im moving into Norwest Woods, not sure where it is exactly (i know how to get there though) all i know is its 3 miles from UTI.

hey, do you have any advice for good well paying jobs in Norwood? i went into Advanced Auto Parts and the guy said he would hire me when i moved there but they only get paid like $8/hr or something, granted i probably get a good part discount though. i dunno, i just remember that massive highway with so many shops and dealerships, ill find a job once i get there but im just trying to map it out before hand.

btw not trying to highjack my own thread, i am tinting 35% to avoid legality issues.
 
I dont live that far from norwest woods. I have my windows tinted at 35% I think. I dont know of any well paying jobs in town I would try the dealerships.
