Humming sound...?

so today when i started up my CSVT....there was this weird humming sound comming from the engine/powerstearing area. it lasted for about 10 seconds...after that, nothing.
THEN, after school, i started my car up agian and i didnt happen till i was about to pull out of the parking lot, then i heard it again
AND one more random time when i was on the drive home.

any ideas?

Check your power steering fluid. Does it sound electrical to the ear, or mechanical? When you first start the car, turn your steering wheel to the left and right listening for the sound to become louder or diminish.

i think it could be the fluid...it does sound electrical
when i turn the steering wheel it does make the sould louder, only some times though...

If the fluid level is fine and fluid is "clear", you may be experiencing the moose.

ah...that could be it, ill have to check to fluid level first to see if that isnt the problem
