Hoffman Ford carshow

I"m an unsure at this point. I really need to get the Cavalier done before I go back to school...This weekend is going to be nice and I'd rather not put off finishing up the car. Its been in an "illegally" driveable state since the end of May :blackeye: Not to mention I would loose most of tomorrow cleaning up the Contour for the show. :laugh:
 
Amyn, I'm going to try. Ken's still having pain so it will all depend on how he feels in the morning. We're hoping to be there, at least for a little while, but it's still up in the air.

95_Mystique: No worries about the car, come out and have a good time with the gang. If you'd prefer not to register, that's fine too, just come and hang out with us. We always have a great time at this show.

Car is clean and inside the gargage and getting the first coat of wax.

I might be meeting up with Jason to drive down together, not sure yet.

Luca, come if you and Ken are up too it. We'll all take turns pushing him around in the wheelchair if he needs it!!!

Not sure who everyone is that is coming, but I'll see you guys tomorrow!

Has anyone heard anything from Glenn???
 
Nice! Glad that you are coming. We need more non-SVT's representing. :cool:
Maybe next year we can get them to make a non-SVT class. They are pretty accommodating so I don't see why they wouldn't.

I'm trying Scott. I'm pretty tired but am trying to get the car ready in case. I even got out the big patio umbrella to bring for some shade, just need to get it and the wheelchair in the car.

Glenn isn't coming. :( It's pretty far for him.
 
amyn if you want to meet up scott and I are meeting up at cabelas on 78 which is right on the way and a good meeting place for both of us. we are meeting at 8:00 am and leaving from there to get to the dealership by 9 or a little before just let me know if you want to join up with us and we will wait
 
too far for Glenn??? He drove to Carlisle and that is only 15 more miles out past Harrisburg!!! :laugh: But I understand it is still a long drive from where he lives.
 
Cabela's is a giant huntin' store. Its on Route 61, about 1 mile off of 78.

Just mapquest.com, put in your house, then put in Cabela's and PA as the state.

Edit: PS: Im COMING with my GF cause my boy has Homework and has to study.............. Darn 1 less CSVT on the road and its going to be boring to Cabela's. Hope there is a car wash cause my car is a mess! Truthfully im coming to meet ppl not to compete, but why not give support to the show, you know......

But Carlisle was a big event that consisted of a hotel/hospital stay. There's no way I'm spending 5 hours on the road in one day (driving upstate was a different story).
 
Made it home okay! of course people on 78 are numtards cannot drive through a single lane above 15 mph agian...

Glenn its cool. Maybe next year you can stop off here and ride with me. Then you won't have to drive nearly as far, and you'll still get to go. :cool:

Besides that, had a good time today! Had a good ride to and from the show as well, always nice to go for a drive with fellow CEGers!

Thanks for the fun guys..... Ill try to post some pictures ASAP, itll be a while cause Im going to rutgers with my girlfriend again.... and she said she is sick of contours so next time bust her chops!
