Volvo has the stigma of pipe and slippers old mans car - motorbike haters. LOL

My mate has one and loves it.

Just not for me, however could be well unfounded cos i have not driven one.
 
Well, no matter how you slice it my Volvo is nicer then your Mondeo. That being said My Contour is also faster then your Mondeo... and probably louder too.

I have my loud, angry CDW-27. I love it, but for daily use the R is extremely nice, comfortable, and still very fun to drive. I would be comfortable in saying that the Volvo S60R is the logical progression for Contour owners.

you're not gonna find a comparable car for the same price with the same features (luxury or otherwise...but especially luxury) and power. period.

and i mean everything you will get....warranty, etc.

i saw a 2003 cobra today...and while i wanted that car like nobody's business, as i drove past it and heard my turbo spool up i thought to myself, it's ok. and it really is...i mean, cars perfect as a DD and you can have fun with it too. and, most important to me, can actually be driven in the winter with no issues.

lol I was trying to find a way to rib Mark for that without causing him to go straight to the bottle of Jim Beam again, but decided against it.

Congrats on the new ride Mark, I guess you really do like those because I remember you mentioning something about those on our way back from that steakhouse at SZ!
