Anyone know which fuse protects the sunroof? Don't see it listed in the manual (99 SVT), and there is a load of wiring right in front of the fusebox (from the aftermarket alarm maybe?) that makes it pretty hard to just keep trying fuses.

Oh, the sunroof just stopped opening/closing which is why i am wondering. Not the gear, already replaced that with the better type, and it is still in good shape.

I would think you'd be able to see the blown fuse if it was a blown fuse... usually not too hard to see... anyways though.... is your vehicle a 1999 SVT Contour? or is that just the manual? Let me know and I can pull you the wires and schematics for the sun roof as well as fuses for it.....

oops

oops

yeah, car is 99 contour SVT.

The fusebox is litteraly covered by these wires, haven't had a chance to try to move them out of the way to open the fusebox cover much less start pulling fuses. I love it when people pay no attention to things life fusebox access when they wire in other crap like alarms.

LoL... agreed.... Well... my program is up at my apartment... which I am not at right now... so I should have it posted after 9pm tonight... (that's when i get off work) working 5-9pm tonight... and I don't anticipate being at my apartment before work, but I'll get it posted for you before I sleep tonight...

Here ya go.... Lot simpler than I expected...

i had a problem with my sunroof just stopped working when it was wide open. tried to find the fusbox and found where the label for the fuses is located but don't know how to access the fuses. anyway ended up just needing to unplug the motor to the sunroof and plug it back in and worked as if nothing ever happened. other then the point that its stop points are all screwy.

Umm.... There is a little push button on the side that you push and it unlatches the fusebox and it flips down so you can see the fuses.....
