A few of us are talking about trailering the bikes down one weekend to run the dragon just to see what all the hype is. Right now we are at 3 people.

We really don't wanna go with some HUGE group and then everyone feels they need to keep up with me:crazy: And roger we have not ruled out that weekend yet soo we'll see.

Anyone else? Stazi, Judge, Geoff, Pudmunkie

I highly suggest at least getting there during a weekday. Kenny and I went through on a Thurs. and traffic was light. Gets crazy during the w/e's from what I know.

we are thinking about leaving like wendsday after work then checking it out late thursday then friday and a bit on saturday then head back on sunday

Might take the car, ill need a good lead time to take off work... if only I had a bike ;p

You might be just as fast with the bikes. The ones we ran into were either timid or unexperienced. I wanted them to get the F out of the way! Some areas might be too tight for bikes. Might have just been the riders though.

as long as my air pressures are good ill rock that place :)

Note to self 20f/17r psi = hard to corner :)

Yeah, they do. Do you have a bike? Are you going? Why don't you come show everyone how it's done?

Oh, wait, that's not how it works on the CEG...... The idea is to talk Shi* and then not show up. I forgot. Sorry.

i've actually had the itch to pick up a bike again lately. but my house is swallowing up what little extra cash i have. ;) i'll be more than happy to run some twisties with you guys in my car though.

by the way, if you can't tell, i'm busting steedas balls. i've ridden sportbikes for years.

Yeah, I know. I was in the red that day. Probably not cool to pull out the ethug. I pretty much did the same thing with my comment.... sorry.

Anyway, If it would make a difference to anyone, Eastern Ohio has some kick ass roads too. There might be more interest to ditch the dragon and hang somewhere around Zanesville. There is a ton of roads south of there that rip, one of them is in Car and Driver's top 10 roads in the US. It's much long, rides faster, and has no traffic. Add in the shorter drive to get there, and the AMA hall of fame, and it might be a better option.

The Dragon is filled with cops, loose gravel, drivers that will cut into your lane and worse. It is not worth it in my opinion on a bike these days. The Blueridge Parkway (spelling) is the place to be on a bike now. I would love to but: I am broke....and just got back from there during 4th shutdown...trust me....Blueridge......do eeet

depends on what weekend, I might be interested in heading down and checking it out.
